Granite has been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for three consecutive years.

Each year Granite incorporates thousands of tons of recycled rubber, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, and asphalt roofing shingles into finished construction materials, including asphalt concrete and road base for local roadways.

At Granite, we believe that the prevention of accidents is not just good business—it’s our moral obligation.

In January 2010, four Granite locations received the Clean Utah seal of approval from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality.

Granite is leveraging its capabilities and resources to pursue work in new markets such as renewable and traditional power.

Infrastructure Investment

Sufficient public and private funding of our nation’s infrastructure is critical to improving the economic prosperity and the quality of life in our country.

Our Commitment

The current state of our country's infrastructure is in decline. Inadequate funding has left much of our infrastructure, particularly for transportation, woefully undermaintained and in need of modernization. The lack of investment in our roads and bridges is causing the United States to fall behind other countries in our ability to move people and goods efficiently and to guarantee the next generation an opportunity to compete in the world marketplace. We are committed to working with key stakeholders to support the needed investment in our country's future.

Our Approach

Granite leads and actively participates in programs to influence public policy related to adequate and reliable public funding of our country's infrastructure. Granite’s leaders across the United States are active members of associations that represent our industry. We engage in industry, grassroots, and direct efforts at the local, state, and federal levels to advocate for adequate and sustainable public infrastructure funding to maintain and improve the transportation system of the United States.
