The Alaska Region provides heavy civil, highway and paving construction, site development and environmental remediation for public agencies, private sector developers, industrial, commercial and institutional owners.

The Alaska Region formerly operated as the Alaska Division of Wilder Construction Company. Wilder merged with Granite Construction Company on April 1, 2008 and now operates as the Alaska Region of Granite Construction. Wilder was established in 1911 in Washington and expanded to Alaska in the 1970s.
