Southeast Region
Southeast Region Office GRANITE Construction maintains offices in strategic locations throughout the Southeast Region to provide optimum construction services and materials to residents and businesses alike.
The majority of the region’s work has been for local and state governments, comprised of highways, bridges and commuter rail. Three projects in the region have been design/build while the balance has been bid/build. The region has pursued projects with innovative contracting methods, such as public private partnerships (P3) and design/build/finance. When the projects reach a certain value we also team with key joint venture partners. The regional office maintains a full support staff which includes: estimating, safety, equipment, insurance, quality control, employee development, contracts, and human resources. Our substantial equipment fleet enables us to self-perform most of the work.

The Southeast Region covers the states of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, with the regional office located in Tampa, Florida since 1997. Granite’s first project in the region was awarded in December 1993, for reconstruction of I-75 in preparation for the 1996 Olympics held in Atlanta, GA. Since then the region has completed 30 total projects in Georgia, North Carolina and Florida, ranging in value from $1.8 million to $148 million.
