Granite East is headquartered in Lewisville, Texas, and has the primary responsibility for bidding and constructing large heavy civil projects in its Northeast, Southeast and Central Regions. These projects, generally ranging in value from $30 million to more than $1 billion, include highways, dams, tunnels, rapid-transit, bridges, railroad, pipeline and canals. Granite East seeks both traditional bid/build projects as well as those using innovative contracting methods such as design-build and privatization. Our estimating offices are in Florida, Minnesota, New York and Texas. The division has a large equipment fleet, including grading and paving equipment, aggregate, asphalt concrete and batch concrete plants, and maintenance equipment.
