Wilder Construction

Wilder Construction Company provides heavy/civil, highway and paving construction, site development and environmental remediation for public agencies and private sector developers, industrial, commercial and institutional owners.
Established in 1911 in Blaine, Washington, the company headquarters is now located in Everett, Washington, with services provided throughout the Western states and Alaska from a network of branch offices.
The Everett Branch shares the headquarters location, and we maintain a strong regional presence with additional Wilder branch offices in Bellingham and Olympia, Washington. Our Alaska division is located in Anchorage, Alaska, with the MatSu Valley Branch office in Wasilla.
Wilder has operated as an affiliate of Granite Construction since 2001 when Granite became an investor in Wilder. In November 2007 the Wilder employee shareholders voted to sell the balance of the company stock to Granite completing the acquisition which began with Granite’s initial investment in 2001.
After the merger becomes effective in early 2008, Wilder will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Granite Construction Company and its operations will function as two separate branches, the Northwest Washington Branch and the Alaska Branch. In addition, Wilder’s Washington assets will be contributed to Granite Northwest (a wholly owned subsidiary of Granite Construction Company) and the Alaska operations will be merged into Granite Construction Company.
