For over 80 years, our company has done more than just process rock. With over 47 stationary aggregate facilities, 69 hot mix facilities and 25 ready mix facilities Granite Construction, along with our affiliates, is able to provide construction materials of exceptional quality. This capability in conjunction with our engineering services department provides every customer a product that meets or exceeds required performance standards. From patios to airport runways our concrete operations supply products that will perform for years to come. To achieve optimum performance, aggregates used for hot mix paving must be crushed and sized to demanding standards that require skill and attention to detail not commonly found in our industry. Use of recycled materials is a concern for all of our operations as we explore ways to improve our environment and reduce our consumption of limited resources.

Our company realizes that to be better we must recruit and develop employees that have skills and talents to respond to the opportunities associated with the manufacture and sale of construction materials. We focus on developing employees from within, however our growth allows us to seek qualified individuals from outside our company to contribute new ideas and approaches to mining, manufacturing and marketing of our products.

Taking rock from the ground and making it better isn't as easy as it sounds. It requires equipment to size it, clean it, sort it and deliver it. While all this is accomplished, we never lose site of the importance of safety. A core belief at Granite is that if we can't do a job safely, we won't do it…period!
