Design Approach for Heavy Loads

The illustrations and generic pavement designs offered here, prepared by Dr. Geoff Rowe, P.E., are meant to suggest the range of potential MatCon end-uses. They are not proposed by Granite Construction Company as engineering designs. The pavement design for a particular MatCon installation must be prepared by the customer's design engineer, taking into account site conditions and anticipated site reuse.
