After 15 years of planning, New York is replacing the Tappan Zee Bridge with a 3.1-mile twin span cable-stayed bridge with angled main span towers - the single largest bridge construction project in the history of New York state.

Granite worked with BNSF Railway Company to remove & re-stabilize a landslide area along their track line, adjacent to Puget Sound on a steep slope below private residences.

Granite is working closely with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to build the $126 million, auxiliary spillway control structure for Folsom Dam, 20 miles northeast of Sacramento, CA.

Granite has constructed more Tactical Infrastructure, Border Security Fencing for the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security than any other contractor in the U.S.

Government officials ranked Granite as their number one preferred contractor for road and highway projects and number two for transportation projects.
