Liberty Bridge Rehabilitation
$50 Million • Bay City, MI
The CM/GC Liberty Bridge Project includes the rehabilitation of the existing Liberty Bridge and a complete reconstruction and alignment of the Independence Bridge.

I55 & Lake Shore Drive Interchange
The I-55 Lake Shore Drive Project involves the detailed overhaul of I-55's inbound mainline and ramps, alongside relocating utilities and water mains. The project includes covering earth excavation, storm sewer updates, and combined sewer installation. Surface improvements include repaved pavement, new markings, signage, roadway lighting, and smart transportation systems.
Beloit Interchange
$40 Million • Beloit, WI
Granite’s scope of work includes the reconstruction of the I-39/90 and I-43/WIS 81 interchange and the I-39/90 southbound bridge over the Canadian Pacific Railroad. This section of work is part of the larger reconstruction and expansion of approximately 12 miles along I-39/90 from the Illinois state line north to County O, south of Janesville.

The Lakefront Trail Phase II
The Lakefront Trail Phase II, or more commonly known as the Navy Pier Flyover Phase II, was a $14.5M contract for the City of Chicago to construct the second phase of the lakefront multi-use path to reduce congestion from the Oak Street beach to the Lake Shore Drive bascule bridge.
The Lakefront Trail Phase III
The Navy Pier Flyover project has improved the locale, enhancing its safety and accessibility for pedestrians, joggers, and cyclists. The third phase was possible only because construction teams embraced unique challenges.
Cline Ave Bridge
The unique design-build EPC contract project consists of the construction of 29 substructure elements for the Cline Avenue Bridge in East Chicago, Indiana. Construction consisted of all excavation, existing footing demolition, pile driving and substructure concrete. Major quantities include more than 8,000 CY of concrete, 38,000 LF of 16” diameter pipe pile, and 2,000,000 pounds of reinforcing steel. Other unique challenges to this project include working between and around active BNSF and IHB railroads as well as rehabilitation and reconstruction of two existing piers in the Indiana Harbor Canal.
