NAPA Recognizes Excellence Across Granite Operations

Diamond Commendations

The Diamond Commendation Program is a nationally-recognized program that highlights best practices in asphalt plant and terminal operations, production, and paving. Granite received awards in four commendation categories: 

• Diamond Achievement (11), which recognizes excellence in plant operations, safety, environmental practices, regulatory compliance, appearance, and community relations. 

• Diamond Achievement & Sustainable (27), which evaluates how well a facility applies sustainability and community engagement principles across social, economic, and environmental efforts. 

• Diamond Quality (39), which focuses on quality management, materials handling, production processes, air quality, storage, and control room operations. 

• Diamond Paving (5), which focuses on paving crews, evaluating training of supervisors and crewmembers, deployment of best practices in paving, and compliance.  

Quality in Construction Awards

The Quality in Construction (QIC) awards honor projects in three categories: Under 50K tons, Over 50K tons, and Airports. Granite received 26 awards for Under 50K tons, two awards for Over 50K tons, and three for Airports.
