Granite’s IVGID Pipeline Project Recognized for Excellence in Partnering and Collaboration

The Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) Effluent Export Pipeline project, located in Washoe County, Nevada,  has received a John L. Martin Partnering Project of the Year Award from the International Partnering Institute (IPI). The award recognizes project teams that demonstrate a strong commitment to collaboration, trust, and shared success.

“Our team is honored to be recognized,” said Project Manager Gunnar Young. “By building a partnership grounded in trust and open communication with IVGID, we were able to complete the project a year early, under budget, and without a single safety incident.”

The project earned a silver award, reflecting strong collaboration and effective problem-solving among Granite and its partners. The recognition highlights the value of early and consistent partnering—and how it leads to better outcomes for project teams and the communities they serve.
